MaxiMenu KnowledgeBase – Installing into Dreamweaver CC 2015
With the latest release of the Adobe Creative Cloud software, Dreamweaver has been updated to version CC 2015. To use MaxiMenu (or other DWUser extensions) with this latest version, you will need to re-install the extensions.
To move extensions to Dreamweaver CC 2015, first make sure that you have access to the .zxp extension files. If you can't locate the .zxp files, you can re-download from your account (in the case of EasyRotator, download from the product homepage). Next, open the Extension Manager CC from your applications/programs menu. On the products menu on the left side, ensure that Dreamweaver CC 2015 is selected:
Note: If you don't see Dreamweaver CC 2015 listed, first make sure that you have opened the Extension Manager CC, and not another version that may be on your system. If you still don't see the product listed, uninstall and reinstall the Extension Manager.
Now, use the Install button at the top of the Extension Manager window to select the MaxiMenu (or other extension) .zxp file.
Allow the installation to complete, then restart Dreamweaver. You will now have access to the Insert > DWUser > MaxiMenu v2 option, etc.
If you don't see the option to edit a menu (or rotator, etc) in Design View, ensure that you've temporarily disabled Live Preview:
