EasyRotator KnowledgeBase – Using the Excerpt Field

When using EasyRotator for WordPress, you may choose to use a template that includes an area for description text.  If you are using the dynamic data option, this area will display the Excerpt text specified for your WordPress posts.  The Excerpt field is hidden by default, so this article explains how to set this text.

In the WordPress post editor, click the Screen Options button in the top-right corner of the screen to expand the options panel:

In the options panel, be sure the Excerpt checkbox is selected:

You will now see an Excerpt field below the main editor; this is where you will specify the text you want to appear in the rotator's description area:
