Q: What software / hardware requirements are there to use the extension?

Q: What kind of images can I load?
A: You can load any type of non-progressive Jpeg format images. If you want to add an image in another format (such as .png or .gif), the Wizard will automatically convert the image (requires Fireworks 3.0 or higher).

Q: How many slideshows can I create with my extension?
A: You can create an unlimited number of slideshows with your extension.

Q: How many images can be put in each slideshow?
A: You can put as many images as you wish in each slideshow.

Q: What type of server-side requirements are there?
A: There are no server-side requirements whatsoever, because it is Flash based. To create dynamic slideshow data sources, you will need access to a server-side language.

Q: How can I pay for the extension?
A: You can pay for the extension thru PayPal. We do not accept any other forms of payment at this time.

Q: How long does it take to receive download instructions?
A: Under normal circumstances, they will be emailed to you within 2 minutes; occasionally because of heavy server traffic it may take up to one hour. If you do not receive download instructions within an hour, your spam filter may have caught it. In this case, Contact us to receive instructions.

Q: How do I create a slideshow?
A: You can use the easy to use Insertion Wizard - see demos in Support Central.

Q: Can I put the slideshow on a CD or data DVD?
A: You can put the slideshow files on CD's / DVD's. However, the product does utilize Javascript and ActiveX content (the Flash Player) to run. When viewing this type of content at local file:// based URL's, some browsers (such as IE) by default block this content. You may need to instruct your users to click the 'Allow ActiveX Content to Run...' type message in their browser.

Q: How do I edit a slideshow?
A: To edit the slideshow, you can use the Editing Wizard, which is just like the Insertion Wizard.

Q: None of my fonts are showing up. What's the problem?
A: If you're not using the default font, make sure that you unchecked the 'Embed' checkbox next to the font selector.
