CNet.com Article, Macromedia will release either the Flash Player 8 (Maelstrom), or Flash 8 (8ball), on August 8th (8/8).

Here's a really cool app - the
Desktop Sidebar. It's pretty much a super-powered version of what Longhorn is supposed to have. There are many mini-apps you can add to the Sidebar, such as a clock, weather, and a blog reader.

The new G5 iMac can only make you way 'Whoa...how did they do that?' It's super thin, has no separate box, and can even be mounted on a wall. See it at
Apple's website. Instead of a CD/DVD tray, it simply has a slot that you insert the media into.
